Obituary

Elsie B. Johnson, 97, Burrton resident most of her life and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Halstead, died October 6, 1991 at the Buhler Sunshine Home.

She was born April 12, 1894 in Reno County, the daughter of George and Luella Mourn Hoskinson. She was a homemaker. On March 8, 1913 she married Henry A. Johnson. He died April 7, 1947. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Burrton.

Survivors: two sons, Eugene Johnson, Hutchinson and Carl Johnson, Burrton; daughter, Veda Paul, Hutchinson; daughter-in-law, Lois Johnson, Hutchinson nine grandchildren; 22 great grandchidren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Wednesday morning at the Burrton Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Al Hysom.
