Obituary

Laaura Daisy McCart, 94, Newton, died June 24, 1991 at Schowalter Villa, Hesston. She was born March 23, 1897 at Newton, the daughter of Francis J. and Florence Marshall Chapple. She was a lifetime Newton resident and homemaker.
She was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church at Newton.

She married Franklin McCart on August 29, 1922 in Wichita. He died February 4, 1960. Survivors: sister, Lucy Kamm, Fort Worth, Texas; nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Services were held at Draper-Cannon Funeral Home. Burial was in the Star Cemetery, rural Burrton.
