Obituary

LaDean F. Schlappeer, 70, Wichita, died October 20, 1991 at St. Joseph Medical Center, Wichita. She was born Janauary 21, 1921 at Bentley, the daughter of John M. and Lucinda Cheatum Bixler. A longtime Wichita resident, she was a homemaker.

On October 15, 1936 she married Paul Schlapper at Marion. He survives. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Other survivors: son, Jimmy Schlapper, Kansas City, Missouri daughter, Shirley Warner, St. Louis; one grandchild, and one great grandchild.

Prayer service was held Wednesday morning at the Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, conducted by the Rev. Charles O'Conner. Burial was in Halstead Cemetery.
