Obituary

Keith M. Shive, 70, rural Halstead, died January 2, 1991 at Mt. Hope Nursing Center, Mt. Hope, Kansas. He was born September 2, 1920 at Galesburg, Kansas, the son of Clark and Avis Burton Shive. He married Dorothy E. Base November 6, 1939 at St. J ohn, Kansas. He was a retired farmer and had been a Halstead area residence since 1945. He was a member of the Agricultural Movement.

Survivors include his wife of the home; son, Gary Shive, Halstead; daughter, Debra Sheldon, Halstead; two sisters, Geraldine Clark, Edmond, Oklahoma and Georgana Macklin, Pagosa Springs, Colorado; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Services were held Saturday at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Burial was in the Burrton Cemetery.
