Obituary

Mabel E. Wiley, 102, lifetime Sedgwick resident died Friday, October 18, 1991 at Regency Health Care Center, Wichita. She was born August 1, 1889 at Deer Grove, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Leah Ranke Dosien. She was a homemaker. On June 12, 1912, she married Albert E. Wiley at Bentley. He died May 3, 1966.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and the EMF Sunday School Class, all at Sedgwick.

Survivors: two sons, Bert Wiley, Wichita and Richard Wiley, Grovois Mills, Missouri; two daughters, Leah McFadden, Mercer Island, Washington and Mary Margatet Stamm, Sedgwick; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Harold A. Wiley and William C. Wiley and one daughter, Ruth Wiley Bailey.

Services were held Tuesday morning at the United Methodist Church, Sedgwick, conducted by the Rev. Jeanne Devine Bonner. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick.
