Obituary

Anna Marie Cox, 80, died November, 3, 1992 at Regency Health Care Center, Halstead. She was born September 20, 1912 at Halstead, the daughter of Tobias A. and Carrie Unruh Nightingale. A resident of Halstead since 1966, she was a homemaker. She was a member of First Mennonite Church, Halstead. She married Archie R. Cox at Walla Walla, Washington on December of 1944.

Survivors: include her husband, Archie D. Cox, Fossil, Oregon; sons, Stanley Cox, Lake City, Minnesota and Wayne Cox, Roseburg, Oregon; daughter, Norma Steffen, Roseburg, Oregon; two brothers, John C. Nightingale, Burrton and Elmer Nightingale, Newton; two sisters, Minnie Brandenberger , Halstead and Martha Bohrn, Sedgwick; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral was held Friday at Kaufman Funeral Home. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
