Obituary

Dorothy M. Ewy, 80, Halstead, died February 29, 1992 at Halstead Hospital. She was born October 31, 1911 at Halstead, the daughter of Andrew and Catherine Schilling Brown. A lifetime Halstead resident, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Mennonite Church, Halstead.

On November 29. 1929 she married John E. Ewy at Halstead. He died July 9, 1990. Survivors: son, Forrest D. Ewy, Halstead; daughter, Betty J. Shepherd, Halstead; her mother also of Halstead; two sisters, Lois Scott, Hutchinson and Rebecca Unruh, Halstead; two grandchildren; one great grandchild.

Graveside services were held Tuewday morning aththe Halstead Cemetery.
