Obituary

Elizabeteh Janes, 88, lifetime Halstad resident, died June 20, 1992 at Regency Health Care Center, Halstead. She was born May 7, 1904 at Halstead, the daughter of Tobis A. and Carrie Unruh Nightingale. On July 11, 1928, she married Fay E. Janes at Halstead. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Mennonite Church, Halstead.

Survivors: her husband of the home in Halstead; two brothers, John C. Nightingale, Burrton and Elmer Nightingale, Newton; three sisters, Minnie Brandenberger and Anna Cox, both of Halstead and Martha Bohrn, Sedgwick.

Services were set for Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in the Halstead Cemetery.
