Obituary

Virgil D. Moore, 79, died December 15, 1992 at his home in Sedgwick. He was born September 9, 1913 at Dover, Arkansas, the son of Sam and Lela Freeman Moore. A Sedgwick area resident for over 40 years, he was a Beech Aircraft employee for 25 years, retiring in 1975.

He was a member of Woodland Southern Baptist Church. On January 10,1936 he married Reatha Ann Jones at Russellville, Arkansas. She died April 20, 1961.

Survivors: two sons, David Moore, Sedgwick and Lynn Moore, Wichita; daughter, Shirley Jeffers, Sedgwick; two brothers, Linzey Moore, London, Arkansas and Harold Moore, Sallisaw, Oklahoma;; a sister, Betty Joyce Tucker, Bismark, Arkansas; nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral was Friday aafternoon at Petersen Funeral Home, Newton. Burial was in the Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick.
