Alice F Layton

Alice F. Layton, 83, died August 1, 1992 at Halstead Hospital. She was born May 21, 1909 at Halstead, the daughter of Elmer and Kathryn Safe Ropp. On August 4, 1928 she married Roy W. Layton at Newton. She had been a resident of Regency Health Car Centere in Halstead for one year, moving from Newton. She was a Homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methohdist Church, Halstead.

Survivors: husband of the home in Newton; brother, John Ropp, former Halstead resident now residint at Friendly acres in Newton; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Eugene Layton who died January 18, 1985.

Graveside services wer held Tuesday morning at the Halstead Cemetery.
