Obituary

Katherine M. McElwain, 82, died August 31, 1992 at her home in Halstead. She was born July 21, 1910 at Halstead, daughter of Harry H. and Josephine Redinger Bousser. In 1928 she married Merle Lentz at Halstead. He preceded her in death. On September 3, 1936 she married Roy McElwain at Wichita. He died May 23, 1989. She had been a Halstead resident for 35 years. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Halstead and the Royal Neighbors of America.

Survivors: son, William E. Lentz, Halstead; brother, Gailen Bousser, Halstead; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Services were held Thursday at the Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
