Obituary

Harold E. Pease, 74, father of Duane Pease of Sedgwick, died Monday, September 14, 1992 at his home in Arkansas City. Mr. Pease was born March 30. 1918 in Newton, the son of Frank E. and Louise Kocneman Pease. He married Alta Loucks April 11, 1937 at the Evangelical Parsonage in Newton.

They moved to Arkansas City in 1965. His wife died November 15, 1966. He was a transport driver for Groendyke Transport, Inc., for more than 20 years. He was a member of the Hillcrest Bible Bapatist Church in Arkansas City and the American Association of Retired Persons.

Other survivors: another son, Stanley Pease, Spokane, Washington; daughter, Nancy Newland, Medford, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Loren Pease and two sisters, Edna Hatfield and another sister who died iin infancy.

Services were held September 16 at the Hilldrest Bible Baptist Church. Graveside services were held later that afternoon at the Greenwowod Cenetery in Newton, Kansas.
