Obituary

Ada Royer, 98, Newton, the mother of Ruby Stein, rural Sedgwick, died March 7, 1992 at Schowalter Villa, Hesston. She was born July 20, 1893 near Hesston, the daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Horst White. A lifetime Harvey County resident, she was a homemaker.

On March 20, 1914, whe married Reuben Royer, at Newton. He died September 28, 1968. She was a member of the First Christian Church and a member of the Pansy Circle, both of Newton.

Other survivors: two sons, Harold Royer, Longmont, Colorado and Dr. Donald Royer, Atlanta; a sister, Esther Beck, Hesston; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday afternoon at the church. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
