Obituary

Neva D. Steiner, 96, Sedgwick, died March 29, 1992 at Newton Presbyterian Manor. Mrs. Steiner was born October 19, 1895 at Newton, the daughter of John and Christina Molzen Tangeman. A longtime Sedgwick resident, she was a retired secretary to the superingendent of Newton Schools. On November 22, 1921 she married Ervin John Steiner at Newton. He died Feb 7, 1987.

She was a member of the Sedgwick United methodist Church, the Life Enrichment Program for Senior Citizens at Bethel College, North Newton and the American Association of Retired Persons.

Survivors include two daughters, Ruth Grabill, Wichita and Beverly Olson, Salina; two sisters, Esther Eby, Hesston and Elizabeth Brinkmeyer, Sioux Falls, South Dakota; six grandchildren and 13 grat grandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday afternoon at the church. Burial was in the highland Cemetery, Rural Newton.
