Obituary

Marjorie I. Stevens, 70, Hutchinson, died November 7, 1992 at Hutchinson Hospital. She was born January 3, 1922 at Amorita, Oklahoma, the daughter of J. H. and Jean Barrett Johnson. A Hutchinson resident since 1946, moving from Sedgwick, she was a 1939 graduate of Sedgwick High School. She was employed as a sales clerk with J. C. Penney Co. retiring in 1984. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Hutchinson.

On January 14, 1940 she married Kenneth L. Stevens at Sedgwick. Survivors: husband, Kenneth of the home; son, Roger Stevens, Iuka; daughter, Karen Jones, Dallas; sister, Peggy J. Wolf, Akron, Ohio and five grand children.

Funeral services were held at Elliott Chapel in Hutchinson. Burial was in the Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas.
