Obituary

Meta D. Dreese, 87, died February 26, 1973 at the Halstead Hospital in Halstead. She was born February 5, 1905 at Haven, the daughter of William and Matilda Koch. A resident of Halstead since 1929, she was a registered nurse and a homemaker. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Nurses Alumni Association, Halstead Cemetery Association and a former Halstead Library board member, all of Halstead.

She married Clayton Robert Dreese at Halstead on September 7, 1929. He preceded her in death on February 9, 1974.

Survivors include a daughter, Jeri Raiche, Valencia, California and three grandchildren.

Services are pending. Burial will be in the Halstead cemetery.
