Obituary

Alice Mary Walker Kiser, 88, Wichitaa, died Tuesday January 19, 1993. She was a homemaker. She was born March 29, 1904 on a farm near Hesston which later became the Hesston Golf Course. After two years of high school at the Hesston Academy, she moved with her family to Winfield where she graduated from Southwestern College in 1925.

She married Willard Kiser of Sedgwick in the College Hill Methodist Church at Winfield on September 2, 1926. She was a founding member of the Children's Committee of Wesley Hospital in 1937 and attended her last meeting in October 1992. She was president of the Auxilliary of the Medical Society of Sedgwick County in 1950.

Survivors: husband, Willard of the home; son, John L. Kiser, Wichita; daughter, Karen K. Broddle, Wichita; sister, Emma Bryson, Columbus, Ohio; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Services were held Friday, January 22 at the First United Methodist Church in Wichita.
