Obituary

Charles S. Ratzlaff, 70, Burrton, died August 26, 1993 at Medical Lodge Nursing Home in Wichita. He was born March 26, 1923 at Hesston, the son of Abraham and Della Luginbill Ratzlaff. He was a retired oil field driller. He was a member of the Burrton American Legion. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.

Survivors: three sons, Robert Ratzlaff, ElReno, Oklahoma; Paul Ratzlaff, Wichita and Ty Ratzlaff, Iowa; three daughters, Sara Ann Dick, Burrton; Chalea Kay Carter, Iowa; and Catherine Sue Bunch, Mississippi; brother, Donald Ratzlaff, Burrton; sister, Delite Regier, Buhler; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; 3 step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Charles David Ratzlaff in 1974.

Services were held August 30 at Burrton Mennonite Church with the Rev. James Gundy presiding. Burial was in the Burrton Cemetery.
