Obituary

Clifford Henry Ruth, Newton, died July 28, 1993 at Friendly Acres Retirement Community, Newton. He was the father of Mary L. Dyck, Burrton.

He w as born June 27, 1910 at Summerfield, Illinois, the son of Henry A. and Anna S. Auernheimer Ruth. He received his education at Prior, Oklahoma. A Kansas resident since 1927, moving from Prior, he was a retired miller at Moundridge Flour Mill, Moundridge. He was a member of the First Mennonite Church, Halstead.

He married Edna Ratzlaff at McPherson on April 22, 1938 at McPherson. She preceded him in death on August 4, 1970. Other survivors include a son, Walter J. Ruth, Newton and 3 grandchildren.

Funeral was July 31 at the First Mennonite Church, Halstead, with the Rev. John Gaeddert presiding. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery, Newton, Kansas.
