Obituary

Gertrude W. Scarborough, 82, Burrton, died May 17, 1993 at College Park Village Health Care Center, Salina, Kansas. She was born January 8, 1911 at Derby, the daughter of Henry H. and Etta Kincaid Gronninger. A lifetime Burrton resident, she was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the American Association of Retired Persons.

She married john A. Scarborough at Burrton on April 26, 1947. He preceded her in death oon September 10. 1981. Survovors include a sister, Elizabeth Ethridge of Salina.

Graveside services were held Wednesday in the Burrton Cemetery, with the Rev. Dallas Darling presiding.
