Obituary

William Wayne Tate, 86, Halstead, died Sunday, November 14, 1993 at Halstead Hospital. Mr. Tate was born June 24, 1907 at Galatia, Illinois, the son of Robert Allen and Verse Pemberton Tate. He married Mary Josephine Beals, May 31, 1947 at Harrisburg, Illinois.

He was a Halstead resident fof 40 years and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors: wife of the home, sioster, Kathleen Brade, Galatia, Illinois. He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Wayne Tate who died March 3, 1967 and by a brother and sister.

Services were held Wednesday morning at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, conducted by the Rev. Roger Ericksten, pastor of the Halstead Baptist Church. Burial was in the Burrton Cemetery.
