Russell Ray Unruh

Russell Ray Unruh, 33, formerly of Newton, died March 25, 1993 at Lahey Clinic, Burlington, Mass. He was born February 21, 1960 at Newton, the son of Donald and Bonita M. Sharkey Unruh. A Brookline, Mass. resident since 1986, he was a retired Apple Computer programmer and service station owner.

He married Sara McCarty on September 20. 1984 at Lincoln, Nebraska. Survivors include his wife Sara, of the home; stepdaughter, Margaritta McCarty, Lincoln, parents, two brothers, Jeffrey Ray Unruh, Walton and Kenneth Ray Untuh, Newton; sister, Betty Jean Unruh, Newton; and grandparents, Richard and Blanche Sharkey, Kansas City, Missosuri.

Funeral service was Wednesday March 31 at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead with Ministers Kenneth Smith and Dean Becker presiding. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.

Memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association.
