Obituary

Luane J. Becker, 49, Halstead, died Sunday, November 6, 1994 at Halstead Hospital. She was born February 20, 1945 at Halstead, the daughter of John Dirks and Malena Smith Dirks. A lifetime Halstead resident, she was a certified Nurse's aide at Moundridge Manor, Mouondridge. She was a member of Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead.

On April 14, 19613, she married Richard L. Becker at Halstead, he survives. Other survivors include three sons, Myron Becker and Weldon Becker, both of Halstead; and Gary Becker, Ayden, North Carolina; four daughters, Diane Koehn, Susanne Becker and Jonell Becker, all of Halstead and Merna King, Friend, Nebraska; her mother, Halstead; a brother, Milferd Dirks, Halstead; a sister, Roslyn Johnson, Uniontown Alabama; 4 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead, with Ministers Dean Becker, Stanley Wiggers and Raleigh Koehn presiding. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
