Obituary

Margaret E. Blaine, 69, Hutchinson, died Monday, August 22, 1994 at her home. She was born October 9, 1924 at South Hutchinson, the daughter of Paul Benton and Helen Anna Hamm Montford. She was a graduate of Hutchinson High School. A longtime South Hutchinson resident, moving to Hutchinson in 1957, she was employed by Smith's Market, retiring in 1982.

She was the grand prize winner in the "Light up Hutch" Christmas Lighting contest in 1993.

She married Theron Blaine at Kingman on October 9, 1949. He died November 8, 1975. Survivors inclue two sons, Doug Blaine, Hutchinson and Mike Blaine, Noble Oklahoma; three daughters, Gloria Hannon, Americus; Brenda Blaine, Honolulu, Hawaii and Robynn Tidmore, Plano, Texas; two brothers, George Montford, Jr, Hutchinson; and 4 grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Thursday morning, August 25 in the Burrton Cemetery, Burrton.
