Bradden L Cooper

Bradden L. Cooper, 75, Goessel, former Halstead resident, died Wednesday, November 9, 1994 at St. Lukes Hospsital in Marion, Kansas.

He was born April 6,1919 in Otho, Iowa, the son of Abraham Lincoln Cooper and Effie Mae McGuire. He moved from Iowa to Newton in 1958, to Halstead in 1983 and then to Goessel in 1989. He was a retired welder from Excel Industries in Hesston. He was a World War II Army veteran.

He married Margaret Thompson on Janury 17, 1941 at Fort Dodge, Iowa. She survives. Other survivors: two daughters, Dale Ades, Moundridge and Coreen Caldwell, Denver, Colorado; one brother, Dave, Spirit Lake, Iowa; sister, Viola Dahl, Boone, Iowa; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

A graveside service was held Saturday morning at Greenwood Cenetery, Newton, with the Rev. James Morford Presiding.
