Obituary

Esther E. Cope, 91, Newton, died Monday, May 23, 1994 at Presbyterian Manor, Newton. She was born August 18, 1902 in Ozaskie, she was the daughter of Thomas Hattan and Charlotte Corey Cope. A former Hutchinson resident, she was a junior high and senior high school teacher.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church; a member of the Chapter D of PEO; a member of the Hutchinson area Retired Teachers Association, all of Hutchinson and the Shepherd of the Hills Weavers Build in Granson, Missouri.

Survivors include six nephews and three nieces.

Graveside Service was held Wednesday, May 25 at Halstead Cemetery. A memorial service was held later that day at Presbyterian Manor Chapel. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
