Obituary

Ethel M. Crandall, 87, Newton, Formerly of Sedgwick, died Monday, October 24, 1994 at Friendly Acres Retirement Community Center, Newton.

She was born March 19, 1907, at White City, the daughter of Paul and Emma Amelia Warnecke Becker. She was a 1932 graduate of White City High School, and became a registered nurse at Axtell Christian Hospital, Newton in 1936. A longtime Newton resident, moving from Sedgwick, she was a retired registered nurse. She was a amember of the Friendly Acres Choir, Newton.

On February 15, 1938,she married Delma E. Crandall at Perry, Oklahoma. He died May 1, 1987.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was prededed in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Services were held October 27 at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel, Newton. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas.
