Obituary

Nellie M. "Nelle" Salisbury, 89, Bartlett, Tennessee, died Thursday, February 25, 1993 at Methodist Hospital North, Memphis, Tennessee. She was born May 8, 1903 in rural Sedgwick, the daughter of David L. and Louella Bonham Steffee. She was a registered nurse who retired from Hertzler Clinic in Halstead and had been a resident of Bartlett the past seven years, moving there from Halstead. Her husband, John B. Salisbury died July 7, 1945.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Halstead and was a life member of the OES Chapter 407 of Halstead.

Survivors: one son, Jack Salisbury, Bartlett, Tennessee; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday, March 6 at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Burial will be in the Halstead Cemetery.
