Blanche Elizabeth Parker, 89, formerly of Sedgwick, died Sunday, March 20. 1994 at the Kansas Christian Home, Newton.
She was born September 5, 1904 at Ralston, Oklahoma, the daughter of James Madison McSpadden and M. Myrtle Hoffman. A longtime Sedgwick resident before moving to the Kansas Christian Home in 1991, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Sedgwick.
On June 2, 1923, she married Edward F. Parker at Pawnee, Oklahoma. He died in 1975.
Survivors: three daughters, Dixie Andersonk Sedgwick; Louise McCall, Casa Grande, Arizona; and Bette Jacobs, La Habra, California; two brothers, Everett McSpadden, San Bernandino, California and Charles McSpadden, Portland, Oregon; two sisters, Madge Botkin, King City, Oregon and Mildred Bedwell, Aberdeen, Washington; 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, James Edward Parker in February 1994.
Services were held at the First Christian Church, Sedgwick on March 25. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick.
