Obituary

Lorena Unruh Becker, 83, Moundridge, died Friday, December 8, 1995 at Moundridge Manor Nursing Home, Moundridge. She was born March 30, 1912 at Coldwater, the daughter of Noah T. and Carrie Jantzen Unruh. A Moundridge resident for the past six years, previously living in the Halstead area for 74 years, she was a homemaker. She was a member of Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead.

She married Frank Becker at Halstead on April 23, 1933. He died October 24, 1989.

Survivors: brothers, Joe A. Unruh, Halstead; Melvin L. Unruh, Macon, Mississippi; sisters, Esther Johnson, Halstead; Alma Dirks, Montezuma; Eva Wiens, Winton, California and Hazel Jantz, Livingston, California.

Funeral was Tuesday, Dec, 12 at Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead with Dean Becker and Raleigh Koehn presiding. Burial was in the Halsted Cemetery.
