Obituary

Nellie A. Dyck, 81, Hesston, formerly of Burrton, died Sunday, February 19, 1995, at Haltead Hospital in Halstead.

She was born November 23, 1913 at Burrton, the daughter of Alfred Woodward and Ethel Boyd Woodward. A resident of Schowalter Villa, in Hesston, moving from Newton, she was a homemaker. She was a member of First Mennonite Church, Halstead.

On April 30, 1937, she married Cornie E. Dyck at Moundridge. He died March 4, 1981.

Survivors: son, Leroy Dyck, Newton; daughters, Evelyn Stenzel, McPherson; Carol Johnson, Aurora, Colordo and Linda Lucas, Valley Center; brother, Frank Woodward, Oskaloosa, Iowa; sisters, Ruth Martin, Memphis, Missouri; and Amy Sommerfeld, Hesston; 8 grandchildren.

Funeral is Thursday, February 23, at the First Mennonite Church, Halstead with the Rev. John Waltner presididng. Burial will be in Halstead Cemetery.
