Obituary

Olga Mueller Franey, 82, Hesston, former Halstead resident, died Wednesday, April 26, 1995 at Schowalter Villa, Hesston. She was born July 24, 1912 at rural Halstead, the daughter of Peter and Anna Schowalter Mueller. A resident of Schowalter Villa since 1992, she had previously lived in North Newton since 1990, moving from California. She was a retired secretary.

She was a member of First Mennonite Church, Newton and the Chrisitan Women's Club, Downey, California.

Survivors include a son, Michael John Franey, Seattle, Washington; three brothers, Herbert Mueller, Fountain Valley, California; Edgar Mueller, Hillsboro, Oregon and Harold Mueller, Modesto, California; two sisters, Matilda Jantzen, Newton and Linda Kaufman, North Newton; two grandchildren and a great grandchild.

Burial was Saturday April 29 in Halstead Cemetery. Memoriala service followed at the First Mennonite Church in Newton with the Revs. Clarence Rempel and Verney Unruh presiding.
