Obituary

William L. Griffin, Jr., 47, Sedgwick, died Monday, November 27, 1995 at his residence.

He was born February 14, 1948 at Charleston, South Carolina, the son of William L. Sr. and Mary Rogers Griffin. A resident of Sedgwick for the past four years, he was an electrician.

He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 268, Sedgwick and the VFW. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Viet Nam. He received the Viet Nam Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars and Purple Heart.

Survivors include three brothers, Sam J. Griffin, Halstead; James E. Griffin, Sedgwick, and Andy A. Griffin, Rockwell, North Carolina.

Memorial service will be Friday, December 1, at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick.
