Obituary

Eleanor F. Kaufman, 89, Halstead, died Monday, April 17, 1995 at Memorial Home in Moundridge. She was born January 10, 1906 at Nashville, Kansas, the daughter of Aaron Figge and Mabel Dumars Figge. A resident of Memorial Home in Moundridge for the past few years, she had previously lived in Halstead since 1943. She and her husband operated Kaufman Funeral Home in Halstead. She was a retired funeral director.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Halstead.

On September 3, 1934, she married Herb H. Kaufman in Wichita. He died January 14, 1957.

Survivors include a son, Aaron Kaufman, Halstead; two daughters, Cheridah L. Henrie, Halstead and Cinda C. Dick, Phoenix, Arizona; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Private services will be held Friday, April 21, at the Halstead Cemetery, Halstead, with the Rev. Don Meeks presiding.
