Donald J."Don" Moulds, 72, Halls, Tennessee, former Halstead resident, died Sunday, May 7, 1995 at Methodist Central Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee. He was born November 18, 1922 at rural Sedgwick the son of Robert E. and Clara M. Ropp Moulds. He was a retired forman for Cargill, Inc., Newton where he worked for 40 years.
Soon after his retirement from the mills in Newton, he and his wife moved to Halls, Tennessee, where he was a missionary with Grace Bible Baptist Church and Bible Ministries of Halls. He also traveled several times to Mexico with Prayer Baptist Missionary International. He was a member of Grace Bible Baptist Church and Bibls Ministries of Halls.
On Janury 28, 1942, he married Sadie Becker in Halstead. She survives. Other survivors: two sons, Donald W. Moulds, Newton and Howard Wayne Moulds, Fredinia; two daughters, Wanda Dyer, Halstead and Willa Kolkmeyer, Carbondale, Illinois; two brothers, Tom Moulds, Halstead and Dean Moulds, Wichita; two sisters, Kathryn Lamia, Kanapolis and Florence Bumm, rural Sedgwick; 7 grandchidren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Norman, four sisters, Eleanor Benett, Evelyn Becker, Pauline Prine and Gerry Vogel and one grandson.
Services were Wednesday, May 10, at Grace Bible Baptist Church, Halls, Tennessee. The body was brought to Kansas where services were held at Restlawn Garden of Memories, west of Newton on Highway 50.
