Obituary

John Richard "Dick" Randall, 74, Newton, died Saturday, December 16, 1995 at Newton Medical Center. He was born in Burrton on June 2, 1921, the son of John L. and Lucile (Howe) Randall. A farmer, he was a resident of Burrton for 69 years, moving to Newton in 1990.

He was a member of the Trinity Heights United Methodist Church in Newton. He was also a member of the Burrton Lions Club.

On May 24, 1942, he married his wife, Lucile, in Burrton. Survivors besides his wife of the home, include his son, Dan Randall, Newton and daughter, Janet Randall, Fort St. John, Btitish Columbia, Canada; two sisters, Ruth Becker, Hesston and Mary Lou Seedle, Texarkana, Texas; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in deth by an infant son, Joe Burke Randall.

Services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Burrton United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Roland Wolfe and Don Swender. A private burial in Burrton Cemetery was held prior to the service.
