Obituary

Edith M. Schultz, 92, Newton, died Sunday, July 16, 1995 at the Halstead Hospital. She was born May 3, 1903 at Louisiana, Missouri, the daughter of William F. and Anna C. Cnauvet Mutt. A resident of Newton for most of her life, she was a homemaker.

She was a life member of Newton Chapter No. 5 Order of the Eastern Star, and a former member of Lady of the Elks, Newton.

On August 16, 1928, she married Paul L. Schultz at Eureka. He survives.

Other survivors include nephews, Jack Chandler, Reno, Nevada; Jim Chandler, of California; Rex Duncan, Olathe and Jim Duncan, Colordo Cprings, Colorado; Nieces, Marian Tidwell, Smyra, Georgia and Barbara Lomire, Atlanta, Georgia.

Funeral mass is Wednesday July 19, at St.Mary's Catholic Church, Newton, with Fther Ken Schuckman presiding. Burial will be in the Halstead Cemetery.
