Obituary

Leo M. Schwarz, 83, rural Burrton, died Monday, February 20, 1995 at his home. He was born August 20, 1911 at Manchester, Oklahoma,, the son of Joseph and Anna Vierthaler Schwarz. A longtime Burrton area resident, he was a farmer.

He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Mens Club, both of Halstead and the Knights of Columbus, Newton.

He married Eldora M. Unruh at Halstead on August 23, 1950. She survives. Other survivors: son, James Schwarz, Sedgwick; daughter, Rita Stucky, Halstead; brother, Alfred Schwarz, Hutchinson and two grandchildren.

Rosary will be Thursday, February 23 at Kaufman Funeral Home. Funeral will be Friday, February 24 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Halstead, with Fathers James R. O'Shea and Carl Schwarz presiding. Burial will be in Halstead Cemetery, Halstead.
