Obituary

Claudia Marie Venn, 60, Sedgwick, died Wednesday, August 23, 1995 at her residence. She was born August 12, 1935 at St. Joseph, Missouri, the daughtere of Lewis Floyd and Marie Horn Creal. A resident of Sedgwick since 1978, she was a retired Evcon department clerk and assembly person.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Sedgwick Booster Club, both of Sedgwick.

On April 15, 1978, she married Rollo E. Venn in Wichita. He survives. Other survivors include sons, Robert Klocke, Douglas and Kevin Klocke, Wichita; daughter, Terri Borden, Ft. Worth, Texas; stepson, James Venn, Sedgwick; stepdaughters, Charlotte Milne, Halstead and Dianna Collins, Parkville, Missouri; brother James Creal, Edgerton, Missouri; sisters, Pat Schwein, Billings, Montana; and Margaret Jean Belisle, Broomfield, Colorado; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lynn Puckett.

Funeral was Monday, August 28, at Plymouth Congregational Church, Sedgwick, with the Rev. Dr. Bill Lanning and the Rev. Randy Smith. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick. Memorial to American Cancer Society and with Central Homecare and Hospice.
