Obituary

Maxine G. Fein, 97, a homemaker, died Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Lakeview Village Care Center, Lenexa. She was born Sept. 22, 1912 at Weelington to Earl A. and Cora V.(Dennis) Ryan. A Lenexa resident since 1997, she was a Halstead area resident since 1946. She attended Sacreat Heart Catholic Church, and was a member of Sacred Heart Altar Society both of Halstead. On Sept. 24, 1946 she married James W. Fein at Halstead; he survives. Other survivors include son: Joseph (Gail) Fein, Lenexa; Brother bobby (Helen) Ryan, viola; grandaughters Sandra(Brad) Heinrichs, Ft. Myers, Fla.; and Kathy Gein, Warrensburg, Mo.; grandson Steve (Monika) Fein, Portland, Ore.; and great-grandsons: Justin and Travis Heinrichs. She was preceded in death by sisters Blanche McLain and Bette Powers. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 23, 2010 at Kaufman Funeral Home Halstead withGather Steve Baxter officiating. Burial will follow at Halstead Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Lakeview Village Foundation or Kansas City Hospice in Care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
