Obituary

Clyde W. Hanson, 82, Burrton, died Monday, December 30. 1996 at Hutchinson Hospital. He was born June 5, 1914 in Webster County, Nebraska, the son of Charles and Martha Phillips Hanson. A Hutchinson area resident since 1991, moving from Inavale, Nebraska, he was a retired farmer, retiring in 1981.

He married Viola V. Shipman at Smith Center on September 29, 1940. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Michael E. Hanson, Burrton; daughter, Martha Kugler, Riverton, Nebraska; three sisters, Eunice Fritz, Bladen, Nebraska; Bernice Schacketon, Kansas City, Kansas; and Ermal Wilson, Inavale, Nebraska; 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral was Thursday, Janury 2, 1997 at Johnson & Sons Memorial Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Wayne Johnson presiding. Burial was in Burrton, Kansas Cemetery.
