Obituary

Guy V. Hayes, 92, Sedgwick, died Monday, September 23, 1996 at Halstead Hospital. He was born September 25, 1903 at Jerome, Idaho, he had lived in Sedgwick for the past 60 years where he worked as a farmer and rancher. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Sedgwick.

On August 10, 1947 he married Virginia Lindsey at Sedgwick. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Robert Hayes, Lake Charles, Louisiana and Doinnie Hays, Phoenix, Arizona; two daughters, Shirley Ayres, Newton and Elaine Pratt, Wichita; brother, Raymond Hayes, Jerome, Idaho; sister, May Davenport, Denver, Colordo; 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral was Wednesday, September 25 at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick.
