Obituary

Jennie Helene "Gram" Kendrick, 96, Newton, grandmother to Susan Woolsey Huebert of Halstead, died Sunday February 18, 1996 at Kansas Christian Home, Newton. She was born April 8, 1899 at Bevier, Missouri, the dauaghter of David A. and Jeanette Reese Roberts. A Newton resident, she was a homemaker.

She was a member of Trinity Heights United Methodist Church, Newton; Eastern Star of New Cambria, Missouri and M.E.O. of Newton.

On October 5, 1941 she married Archie Kenneth Kendrick at Moberly, Missouri. He died April 17, 1970. Survivors: daughter, Raylene Woolsey, Newton; four other grandchildren and eleven great grandchidren

Memorial service was Thursddy, February 22 at Trinity Heights United Methodist Church, Newton, with the Rev. Don Swender presiding. Burial will be private.
