Obituary

Elaine R. Schrag, 55, Burrton, died Saturday, February 10. 1996 at Newton Medical Center, Newton. She was born May 15, 1940 at Goessel, the daughter of Arthur and Frieda Schmidt Banman. A lifetime Burrton area resident, she was a homemaker. She was a member of Central Community Church, Wichita.

On August 21, 1961, she married Thomas E. Schrag at Newton. He survives. Other survivors include a son, Byron K. Schrag, Wichita; a daughter, Lori L. Schrag, Wichita; mother, North Newton; three sisters, Marge Neufeld, Lakewood, Colorado; Lela Trewett, Shawnee Mission; and Joan Wiebe, Aurora, Colorado and a grandchild.

Memorial service will be Thursday, February 15, at Central Community Church, Wichita. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Newton, Kansas.
