Obituary

Frank F. Toews, Newton, brother of Katheryn Ensz, Halstead, died June 24, 1996 at Friendly Acres Retirement Community, Newton, Kansas. He was born Decembeer 13, 1909 at Buhler, son of Abraham H. and Catherine Fehdrau Toews. He married Marietta Frey June 14, 1936 at Goessel. She died May 26, 1988.

He was a retired farmer and also worked for Hesston Corporation for 17 years. He had been an area resident all his life. He was a member of the First Mennonite Church, Newton.

Other survivors: brother, John Toews, Buhler and sister, Sarah Thiessen, Inman. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Aaron Toews, Abe Toews and Henry Toews, and a sister, Marie Toews.

Services were held Thursday, June 27, at the Church in Newton. Burial was in Restlawn Gardens of Memory, Newton.
