Obituary

Gene W. Wolthausen, 59, formerly of Halstead, died Sunday, April 7, 1996 at his residence. He was born July 3. 1936 at Halstead, the son of John Henry and Anna L. Stahlheber Wolthausen. A resident of Wichita for the past 41 years, he was a Safeway Foods and Cudahay employee retiring from Farmland Foods. He was a member of Southside Bapist Church in Wichita.

On September 10, 1973 he married Ellie Lobb at Wichita. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Gene W. Wolthausen II of the home; daughters, Chelisea Reneea Wolthausen of the home; Lorie Ann Nunn, Wichita and Vicki Lynn Dipretore, Neenah, Wisconsin; sister, Marie Dyke, Wichita; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral will be Wednesday, April 10 at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Burial will be in Halstead Cemetery.
