Obituary

Amber Lea Arnold, 18, Halstead, died Tuesday January 21, 1997 at Junction City, Kansas. She was born March 9, 1978. She moved to Halstead with her family in 1992. She was a 1996 graduate of Halstead High School.

While at HHS, Amber was a member of Girls H-Club and Kayettes; served on the yearbook staff for three years; was a member of the Spanish Club, serving as president her senior year; played basketball her senior year and was a member of the drill team. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Halstead,.

Survivors: parents, Kreg Steve and Sue Ellen Arnold, of the home brother, Glenn Steven Arnold of the home; sister, Brandee Michelle Arnold, Wichita; maternal grandparents, W. T. and Helen James, Wichita;; paternal grandparents, Jack and Eleanor Arnold, Tribune, Kansas; her paternal great grandmother, Phyllis Arnold, Tribune; and a nephew, Logan K. Arnold, Wichita.

Services were held Friday, January 24 at the Church in Halstead. Burial was in Halstad Cemetery.
