Obituary

Marie F. Bartel, 104, Moundridge, died Monday, April 7, 1997 at her home. She was born September 8, 1892 in rural Halstead, the daughter of Peter and Elise Epp Dyck. A resident of Moundridge for the last 17 years, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Mennonite Church, Halstead.

On August 7, 1912, she married David A. Bartel at Moundridge. He died July 15, 1976.

Survivors: two sons, Roland Bartel, Mancos, Colorado; and Marvin Bartel, Gap, Pennsylvanaia; three daughters, Mildred Mueller, Dorothy Dick, both of Halstead and Frances Bartel, Moundridge; 26 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren;
seven great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services is Thursday, April 10 at Halstead Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the First Mennonite Church.
