Obituary

Minnie Bick, 89, Geneseo, formerly of Halstead, died Sunday, April 13, 1997 at Lyons District Hospital in Lyons. She was born November 4, 1907 at Sylvia, the daughter of Fred and Nema Hunter Vandeest. Formerly of Wichita and Halstead, she had been a resident of Geneseo since 1967. She was a retired registered nurse. She was a member of United Methodist Church.

On November 21, 1932, she married August Bick in Denver, Colorado. He died April 24, 1945.

Survivors: sisters, Ida Belote, Lyons, Edith Butherus, Council Bluffs, Iowa and Ada Base, Sterling.

Graveside service was Wednesday, April 16 in the Halstead, Kansas Cemetery.
