Mabel Lois (Jones) Call

Mabel L. Call, 91. Halstead, died Wednesday, May 7, 1997 at Shepherds Center in Cimarron, Kansas. She was born November 26, 1905 at Moline, the daughter of Silas V. Jones and Lillie May Hebb. She was raised in Moline where she attended school, then moved to Wichita until 1932. In 1932, she moved to Halstead where she lived until February 1997, moving to Cimarron. She was a retired office manager of Halstead Hospital.

She was a amember of First United Methodist Church, 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star, all of Halstead.

On June 28, 1929 she married G. Dale Call at Emporia. He survives. Other survivors: son, Gary Call, Cimarron; daughter, Barbara Hardin, McPherson; sister,
Phyllis Divine, Howard, Kansas; three granddaughters and three great-granddaughters.

Funeral was Saturday, May 10 at First Methodist Church, Halstead, with the Rev. James Mardock presiding. Burial was in Halstead Cemetery, Halstead.
